ASSAULT is a strategy MUD, similar to the C&C games, where players create their own military base, choosing from over a hundred different building types with numerous technology trees.
Players will discover many unique ways to attack other players and defend their territory, including simply blowing stuff up with guns and bombs, a full-scale assault with vehicles, planes and allies, sneaking past defenses by going underground, hacking their way into the enemy base to disable defenses, and much much more.
Players are also able to research, construct and pilot space ships which they use to search for other planets to attack, mine, or quest on.
If you're looking for a game that keeps you on your toes, and requires strategy to kill and still combines fun, you just found it!

Core 2653 is a Non-PK MUD set 650 in the future, on a lonely mining colony. The players can mine for money, get a job at one of the numerous players-run shops (and even own one), become a technician, or play with the dynamic stock market.
Many quests and mini-quests make the levelling process complicated but fun for those who like well-designed puzzles.
Core 2653 has been running since 1996, has more than 500 unique players and 22,000 different rooms. Roleplaying is not enforced but encouraged. The admins and players are very helpul and newcomers won't have troubles getting the answers they want.
Come on Core and you'll be able to waste your time in the Nympho Dome, listen to the KORE DJs, arrange your apartment, get drunk at the pubs, fight against alien invasions or other players in the arena.

Mystic Adventure has been in existence for over 10 yrs. Created by four French Canadians it has a unique flavor but is an American mud. We have been known to many as one of the best Merc type muds around. Special guides and areas are available for new players and fair play is enforced. Over 22000 rooms and 220 areas, with a richly entailed world including clans and sophisticated thief poison systems. We are base of 100 levels with special areas and perks for those who reach the top and are awarded HERO status. Imms are picked from current players with no automatic advancement to imm level. Quests and sieges are routinely run and the primary goal of the immortals is to make playing here a challenging and fun experience. Ah the promised land, that fabled destination of the people of Israel led by the legendary Moses. Though the real Moses never got to enter the promised land, there is another promised land set in a very different reality of fantasy and medievalism...and Moses is a longtime resident. Beware though, the land holds a number of dangers and demons threatening to plunge the world into a wilderness of sin. You have been called forth to become a hero and root out the evil forces that pollute the promised land. Trainers are waiting to teach you the arts of fighting and the secrets of magic, deities are willing to bless you with gifts that only an immortal can give. There are sixty quests to conquer, three levels of difficulty, and the option of levelless mode. You can hack off the limbs of your opponents...or if you aren't careful, they can cut yours off too! And the monsters don't kill people in single blows, but a well armed and armored player can take on just about any monster in the game at any level. For new players...unlike other muds, we don't require you to specify everything about your character up front. You can customize your character at your own leisure during the game and not at the login screen. The tour zone will teach you all the basics and the features, and equip you for the early going. Stuff can be found on the ground all over, where you don't have to fight for it--but not always.

The persona which you assume in the world of Tempus can be tailored to the whims of your imagination. You can choose from 13 different occupations, each with their own unique style of play. Your character may be one of a dozen available sentient species. Finally, after reaching a certain level of achievement, you may remortalize as a dual-class character.
